Second Chapter: I think I did Great?

Image
The second quarter is coming to an end. It has never been easy, of course. But I guess I did well? I did my best for this quarter because the effort I made in the first quarter was not enough. I'm hoping that my efforts and struggles this quarter will be worthwhile; my goal is to be on the honor roll not just this quarter, but throughout the school year. This second quarter, I finally adjusted to my surroundings and became used to a lot of activities and quizzes.  This 2nd quarter most of all the lessons really leveled up, it was hard. However, the 2nd quarter lesson of ICT (HTML) is easy for me because I am already familiar with it and I already knew some about the lesson. That’s why I enjoyed this lesson more than the lesson in the first quarter. So far, this is the busiest quarter for me. We did a lot.. Thank You, 2022. Hello, 2023!

Hello! If you are reading this, Congratulations! We both survived the 2022's challenges. Now it's time to look ahead to 2023 with a positive outlook on all of the growing pains of the previous year. It's time to look around our lives and see the potential rather than the flaws. I know, 2022 has been a tough year, and I'm so proud of us that we made it here.       Needless to say, the year 2022 has been extremely difficult to process. The memories I’ve made within that year are like a short video clip that plays over and over again in my head. I’ve never expected it to be that fast to complete the whole year. I made new friends, I made new memories that I will always remember. Now, I’m here in the year 2023, still breathing and surviving. This year, I wanted to change something in my habit and that is spending too much money. Nowadays, you cannot just get money easily, you have to work hard for it. That’s why I want to stop myself from spe...

The most awaited holiday; Christmas

Image
We all know that this day- December 25th is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus every year. Christmas is a cultural and traditional holiday. The festival necessitates extensive planning. Most people begin their Christmas preparations early- "ber months". Christmas preparations include a variety of activities such as purchasing decorations, food, and gifts for family and friends. This is the day wherein we give and receive gifts from our loved ones. The first step that we usually do when preparing for Christmas is decorating our house with a Christmas tree, Christmas lights, lanterns, and many more. All of us celebrated Christmas day with our own family. We prepare food for christmas eve or we usually call it "noche buena."  December 2022, it's not a good month for me, but it is memorable. I felt how Christmas parties feel like to be again after how many years of not having a school Christmas party. I really enjoyed it. I was so happy. When Christmas break alr...
