Fourth Chapter: The End

Being grade 10 was one of the hardest, yet the happiest, joyful, enjoyable, liveliest year of my high school life. With all those sleepless nights, never ending tasks, the sudden breakdown every night, I can confidently say “I survived!!” I can’t believe it. It’s like, it was just yesterday when this school year started, and now, it’s about to end. You might wonder, how was it being a Maxwellian… Well, as we all know, the section Maxwell is where you can find the ‘competitive students’ yes. It’s a flex that almost all the competitions that students from maxwell – whether it’s an individual or a grouped competition we have participated in, we have never been defeated. Maxwell genes, I guess? Ayaw magpatalo eh. It’s also known as the loudest section in main building. Hindi ito Maxwell kung hindi 45 na maiingay na estudyante ang nasa silid-aralan na ito. Being part of this section is a whoooole dream. I know that this section – Maxwell isn’t that perfect section; but for me, it was th...

A Glimpse of Tomorrow

Thinking as who am I right now— a very indecisive one, it's so hard for me to picture myself of what am I a decade from now. Whenever i picture myself in the future my vision is blurry, because to be honest, it scares me when I think of it. It's either I might or might not be alive at that time. But, one thing I know for sure is that, if God allows me to live to that age, I will make the most of it and exert every effort to lead a fulfilling life. i won't waste my time because we all know that It's not always easy to ponder about the future because no one truly knows if it will ever turn out the way we hoped.           I'll put in a lot of effort so I can get whatever I want. and accomplish the things I wasn't able to do when I was younger— heal my inner child. Yet, sometimes, it seems like the answers are right in front of me, but there are times that it is challenging to identify and difficult to make a decision regarding what I genuinely want to...

Unleashing Transformation: Empowering Change from Within

Inevitably, change is a constant part of life, with our world constantly evolving. However, the foundation for true and lasting change lies within individuals who acknowledge the need for personal transformation. The phrase "Change starts with ourselves" carries immense significance, emphasizing that the power to bring about positive change originates from within. This blog explores the notion that personal transformation serves as a catalyst for broader societal change, underscoring the significance of introspection, individual accountability, and the far-reaching impact of our actions. Initiating change from within involves embracing individual responsibility. Each person possesses the power to make choices that shape their own lives and impact the world around them. By taking responsibility for our actions, we acknowledge our role in effecting positive change. We recognize that change is not solely the responsibility of governments or organizations but requires the activ...

Honoring the Backbone of Families and Society

Image
Celebrating Mother's Day lies in the opportunity to express gratitude and honor to the mothers and mother figures in our lives. Mothers play a vital role in nurturing and raising their children, and their love and support are invaluable. Mother's Day is a time to recognize the selfless and tireless efforts of mothers, to acknowledge their sacrifices, and to thank them for everything they do. It is also a time to celebrate the bond between a mother and her children, and to strengthen that relationship. Sunday, last week, Mother's Day was celebrated in many countries around the world, often with gifts, cards, and special activities to show appreciation for mothers and mother figures. It is a time to reflect on the love and support that mothers provide and to thank them for all that they do. Personally, i greeted my mother, grandmother, and my aunt a happy mother's day and showed them how grateful I am through an act of service because of their sacrifices for me. Ther...

Dedication and Contributions of Workers

Labor Day is a notable holiday that honors the accomplishments and contributions of workers. It is honored on the first of May in many nations. Third Chapter: Unforgettable Moments

Image
Second to the last chapter. As always, this quarter was tiring but, so far, this quarter has the most unforgettable moments that I've experienced with my classmates and has a special place in my heart and mind. In this quarter, we did a lot of activities, some of them are the reader's theater in English, our music performance called "your face sounds familiar", the hip-hop dance competition in physical education (PE) and of course, the community based research we conducted in ICT. The reader's theater is a competition where we compete against different sections from the regular class and spatial math class. and fortunately, we won as the champion. The second is the music performance called "Your face sounds familiar" . This only took place in the classroom where there were three groups who showed off their skills by imitating Filipino composers and performed their compositions. The third one and most probably the most un...

Holy Week Special

Image
As we all know, Holy Week also known as the Passion Week, which is a significant time in the Christian faith, commemorating the events leading up to Jesus Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. This week offers a time for us believers to renew our faith, seek forgiveness, and reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Us Filipinos usually spend the Holy Week or Semana Santa with our families. That's why aside from being a time for reflection and penance, it is also an opportunity to create memories, strengthen family bonds, and pass on traditions.          The feeling of experiencing the holy week as it was used before the pandemic is unreal. Why? I do not know…? Maybe because this year's holy week is very different from other holy weeks I've experienced and I think my holy week experience is different from other students like me. If other students are just at home, resting and going to church with their families. As for me, the ha...
