          Every 14th of February, we celebrate the feast of St. Valentine or what we called “Valentine’s Day.” Valentine's Day is traditionally associated with romantic love, and many people choose to spend the day with their significant others. Popular activities include going out to dinner, exchanging gifts or cards, and spending quality time together.  However, Valentine's Day can also be a time for celebrating love and affection in all forms. Some people, like me, choose to spend the day with friends or family members, while others may use the day as an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for important people in their lives. This 2023 valentine’s day, we did not do something special for our teachers, but we greeted them a happy valentine’s day and continued our lessons.           Kannawidan Festival is a cultural celebration held in the province of Ilocos Sur in the Philippines. This festival is a tribute to the province's rich history and cultural heritage, and it is celebrated annually on January 29. The word "Kannawidan" is derived from the Ilocano word "nawidan," which means to inherit. The festival aims to promote and preserve the Ilocano culture by showcasing the traditions and customs that have been passed down from generation to generation.            I was amazed when we went to the Kannawidan trade fair. The Kannawidan Festival features a trade fair, where visitors can purchase traditional handicrafts and products.
